Needham Bank is opening a new banking center in Medford and expanding its office space to better serve small and medium sized business and commercial real estate clients, and to accommodate its growing cannabis banking practice.

Needham Bank has officially been named a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Preferred Lender—the highest lending status available within the agency.

Mr. Barzykowski will assist with the growth of the Commercial & Industrial Structured Finance portfolio. This will include handling commercial loans greater than $10 million in commitment size and advising borrowers on appropriate products and services.

Mr. Bickford is responsible for overseeing the cash management relationship managers, ensuring improvement in revenue growth and portfolio development of cash management products.

Needham Bank announced that Lori Schofield joined the Residential Lending team as vice president residential loan officer. Ms. Schofield will be responsible for originating first mortgage loans, promoting Needham Bank’s lending services to the real estate community, and helping to identify and serve the community’s financial needs through home loan counseling and real estate seminars.

Needham Bank, which for more than a century has served as New England’s “Builder’s Bank,” is pleased to announce it has closed a $25mm loan to an affiliate of SWEB Development USA (SWEB), Natick, MA for the development of a wind energy project in Maine.
