Kathy Wright joins Needham Bank as Vice President, Contact Center Director

Needham Bank announced that Kathy Wright has recently joined the Operations team as Vice President, Contact Center Director. Ms. Wright has over 25 years of experience in financial services with specific expertise in contact center operations and management that she is bringing to her new role.

She will be responsible for developing the project to start and lead Needham Bank’s new Contact Center. At Needham Bank, we are continually looking for ways to improve our service, and with this center, we will be able to field calls and have a beneficial impact on over 60,000 customers.

From 2006 to 2020, Ms. Wright worked at Sovereign Bank/Santander, where her roles increased in responsibility. Most recently, she was the Vice President, Director of Centralized Claims, where she was responsible for the United States and Poland claims operations. Prior to that, she was the Vice President, Director of Customer Contact Centers, where she designed and implemented solutions that drove customer service, sales and operational efficiencies.

While at Sovereign Bank/Santander, Ms. Wright received the Gold Leadership Star Award and was additionally recognized several times for her high performance and leadership.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Communications from the University of Rhode Island.
