Patrick Daaboul joins Needham Bank as Vice President, SBA Program Manager

Needham Bank announced that Patrick Daaboul joined the Small Business team as vice president, SBA program manager. Reporting to Michael Semizoglou, senior vice president- director small business, Mr. Daaboul will be responsible for the management of the Small Business Administration (SBA) loan program and will oversee employees who support the small business lending staff.

With over 20 years of banking experience, Mr. Daaboul was most recently vice president, SBA Administrator at Leader Bank. From 2014 to 2021, he guided SBA credit underwriting and ensured the proper SBA documentation quality check to verify customers’ eligibility. Prior to that, he was an SME government lending advisor at ScotiaBank in Toronto.

“As a top SBA lender in Massachusetts, we’re able to help businesses in our community grow and expand,” said Mr. Semizoglou. “Patrick has extensive experience with SBA closing, underwriting and compliance processes that makes him the perfect person to manage our SBA loan program.”

“During the pandemic, I established several processes to streamline the Paycheck Protection Program at my previous place of employment,” commented Mr. Daaboul. “I am proud to be joining a team that placed the same importance on PPP loans, helping as many businesses as possible. Mr. Daaboul received his associate degree in business administration and humanities from Bois-de-Boulogne College in Montreal, and his bachelor of arts degree in economics from Concordia University in Montreal. He has also received a graduate certificate in financial planning from McGill University, as well as a small business lending certificate from the Canadian Securities Institute.
