Wayne Dunn joins Needham Bank a First Vice President, System Development Director

Needham Bank announced that Wayne Dunn has joined the Information Technology department as First Vice President, System Development Director. Mr. Dunn is an accomplished IT executive who will be responsible for the application and reporting architecture, as well as the foundation of IT technologies at Needham Bank.

He brings over 20 years of experience directing IT strategy and building system roadmaps to his new role. Most recently, he was a Technology Consultant for Needham Bank and Apexa Corporation. Prior to that, he was the Chief Information Officer at UniBank in Whitinsville, MA, and Chief Technology Officer at HarborOne Bank in Brockton, MA, where he was responsible for the vision, strategy and execution for all facets of their technology platforms and initiatives.

“Wayne’s knowledge and understanding of technology will prove to be quite an asset to Needham Bank as he implements the strategic direction of the systems architecture aligned with the Bank’s strategic plan,” James Gordon, Senior Vice President – Information Technology, said.

“I am very excited to be joining a great institution and this IT Team,” remarked Mr. Dunn. “I am looking forward to helping direct technology implementation to support the growth of the Bank.”

Outside of work, Mr. Dunn serves on the Board of Advisors for Apexa Corporation. He also served as a board member and chairman for the Finance and Investment Committees at Brockton Visiting Nurses Association for eight years and participated in the YCC Mentor Program as part of a Brockton Area Workforce initiative for high school students.
