Bill Darcy Appointed to Needham Bank's Board of Directors

NEEDHAM,MA--- Bill Darcey, President and Chief Executive Officer of Provider Group Insurance, has been appointed to fill an open seat on Needham Bank’s Board of Directors. A Wellesley resident, Darcey has served on Needham Bank’s Advisory Council for many years.

He joined Provider Group in 2001 and has over 20 years’ experience providing risk management services to businesses and individuals throughout New England. His business career spans a variety of management and sales positions.

In addition to serving on the Bank’s Advisory Council, Darcey is Treasurer and past President of Wellesley Youth Hockey, he has coached Wellesley Lacrosse and Youth Baseball, and he has served on various town committees. He is a Governor of the Wellesley Country Club as well as being a Certified Insurance Counselor, a member of Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America, and a member of the Associated Risk Managers of Massachusetts.

Darcey is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Bachelor of Science degree, and he received his Master of Business Administration degree from Babson College.
