Janelle Woods-McNish Appointed to Needham Bank Advisory Council

Photograph of woman, Janelle Woods-McNish.NEEDHAM, MA---Needham Bank announced today that Janelle Woods-McNish has joined the Bank’s Advisory Council. Ms. Woods-McNish is currently the Director of Service and Giving for the Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare Foundation and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M, a Master’s in Education from Boston College, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Simmons College.

Ms. Woods-McNish is active in her community as a member of the Board of Directors of City Year Boston and College Bound Dorchester. She was also a past President of the Greater Boston Corporate Volunteer Council, among others. In addition to her volunteer service, she has been recognized by the Boston Business Journal as an Emerging Leader and was a recipient of the Boston Business Journal’s 40 under 40 award in 2016. She has also been awarded the YMCA’s Service Award and Achievers Award.

In meeting with Needham Bank’s leadership, the commitment to localization was evident and that’s why I wanted to be a part of the Advisory Council,” remarked Janelle Woods-McNish.

Janelle Woods-McNish lives in Dorchester with her husband, Hansley, and their nine year old twins, Jasmine and Sheridan. She recently authored her own children’s book titled Grandma’s Crown: The Story of Queen Janelle. Proceeds from the sale of the book benefit the non-profit, Children of the Night.
