Joe Campanelli, Needham Bank’s President and CEO, cut the ribbon and delivered remarks to kick off the reception which featured catering from Bakers’ Best.

“As a Wellesley resident, I know firsthand how supportive Needham Bank has been to our community,” remarked Joe. “We thought it was the right time to actually spend a little money on ourselves and upgrade the quality of our facilities in town. The renovation came out great and is the culmination of a lot of input from our employees and customers. We look forward to continuing to support the Wellesley community and grow our branch.”

During the renovation, Needham Bank improved both the customer and employee areas of the branch by adding a new waiting area with a coffee station, private offices to increase customer privacy, an updated safe deposit room, and a new teller line. In addition to the improvements inside, the outside of the branch was also updated with new windows, a new roof and exterior paint.

“Before the renovation our branch was dated and the space was used inefficiently,” added Carrie Vargas, Senior Vice President. “The updates we’ve made in Wellesley better reflect our brand and allow us to deliver a higher level of service to our customers in a more comfortable and inviting space.”
