Needham Bank Hires CRA Residential Lender, Wilfred Edwards

NEEDHAM,MA---Needham Bank announced that Wilfred Edwards has joined the Bank’s Residential Lending team as Vice President, CRA Residential Lending. In this role, Mr. Edwards will focus on originating loans within the Boston area.

Mr. Edwards brings over twenty years of banking experience to this position. Prior to joining Needham Bank, he worked as a Mortgage Development Officer for 13 years with Santander Bank and as a Senior Risk Analyst with Bank of America. In addition to his job experience, he also holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from University of Massachusetts.

Mr. Edwards is active in the Boston community, working with many organizations to present First Time Homebuyer Seminars and Financial Literacy Workshops. He has previously worked with the Massachusetts Affordable Housing Alliance, Massachusetts Housing Partnership, Masshousing, the Asian Community Development Corporation, and UrbanEdge.
