Needham Bank Hires Senior Vice President of Risk Management

NEEDHAM, MA-----Needham Bank announced that they’ve hired Peter Bakkala as the new Senior Vice President of Risk Management. Mr. Bakkala is a seasoned banking professional with 30 years of experience in risk management, audit, and compliance. Most recently, he was President of Government and Professionals Banking at Citizens Bank.

In addition to his banking experience, he is also committed to academic and community service. He serves on various Boards at Labouré College, The Greater Boston Food Bank, and the Alumni Association at Connecticut College. Mr. Bakkala is also an Adjunct Instructor in Finance at Bryant University in Rhode Island.

A graduate of Connecticut College, Mr. Bakkala also holds a Masters in Economics from Trinity College and a PhD in Business Administration from Northcentral University.
