ASHLAND, MA—On Wednesday, April 27th, customers of Needham Bank and their guests attended a book reception with author John DiNatale at local favorite Stone’s Public House. DiNatale is author of the book The Family Business: Memoirs of a Boston Private Eye, a true story about a multi-generational detective agency and a look at life through the eyes of this family of private investigators.

Attendees enjoyed delicious food and drinks from Stone’s Public House and an eye-opening look into the life of DiNatale as he shared stories and artifacts from his father’s investigation into the Boston Strangler case.

The Needham Bank Speaker Series aims to bring customers together with local authors. The Bank offers these events at no charge and each customer attending receives a signed copy of the author’s book.

“We think we have some truly fascinating customers, perhaps none more so than John DiNatale,” remarked Eric Morse, Needham Bank Senior Vice President. “While his story deals with one of the most heinous crimes in Boston history, the real story is the love and respect between a father and son. Offering these types of events is just another way to say thank you to our customers with whom we enjoy spending time.”

John DiNatale added, “I would never expect my Bank to put together an event like this to help promote my work and show their appreciation to other customers. It’s been a pleasure to work with Needham Bank on these events and I’m so thankful for their support.”
