Needham Bank Names Kevin Henkin as SVP Commercial Credit and Chief Credit Officer

Headshot of Kevin HenkinNEEDHAM, MA -- Needham Bank today announced that Kevin Henkin of Norwood has joined the bank as Senior Vice-President, Commercial Credit and Chief Credit Officer. Mr. Henkin will manage the bank’s Commercial Credit Department and will guide the bank’s Credit Committee process. He will report to President & CEO Joe Campanelli.

Henkin brings more than 25 years of banking and financial services experience to this position. Prior to joining Needham Bank, he served as Chief Executive Officer at Cobblestone Management, LLC. Prior to his time at Cobblestone, Henkin held a series of positions of increasing responsibility at First Commons Bank, Wellesley; Admirals Bank, Boston; Webster Five Cents Savings Bank, Worcester; and Fleet and Shawmut Banks, Boston. He holds an MBA from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and a B.A. from Assumption College in Worcester.

In addition to banking skills and being an active member of the Norwood community, Henkin is an avid sports enthusiast. For more than a decade he has written and provided broadcast commentary on sports as diverse at lacrosse, baseball and basketball. He writes for the New England Baseball Journal and the New England Lacrosse Journal and previously covered the Celtics as a reporter for ten years.
