New Executive Management Team Announced at Needham Bank

NEEDHAM, MA---Joseph Campanelli, President and Chief Executive Officer at Needham Bank announced his new executive leadership team this morning. Campanelli, the former CEO of Sovereign Bank and more recently of Flagstar Bank, has been at Needham Bank since the first of the year.

Joining the bank this week as Chief Administrative Officer and Executive Vice President is Sal Rinaldi, who has worked with Campanelli at both Sovereign and Flagstar. Rinaldi will oversee Information Technology, Human Resources, Loan and Deposit Operations, Facilities, and the Project Management Office.

Barry Whittaker, who has been at Needham Bank for six years will remain Chief Operating Officer and will oversee Finance, Data and Analytics, Investments, and Credit.

Campanelli also announced three promotions. Laura Dorfman, who runs the bank’s Residential Lending Group and Stephanie Maiona, who runs the Commercial Real Estate Lending Group, have both been promoted to Executive Vice President. Also promoted to Executive Vice President is Eric Morse who will oversee Marketing, Business Development, Wealth Management, the bank’s Advisory Council, and Retail Distribution.
