New Transfer Features and Apple Pay Now Available

NB Mobile, the Bank’s market leading app, has recently been enhanced with new feature upgrades that provide added convenience to customers. In addition to mobile enhancements, NB customers can now use Apple Pay with their NB Debit Cards.

Instant transfers are now available between Needham Bank customers through the mobile app. With just a few taps, funds sent will be immediately accessible in the recipient’s account. For transfers to individuals at other financial institutions, the Bank has also integrated PopMobile into the NB Mobile app. PopMobile gives Needham Bank customers the ability to send funds to other individuals that will be available to the recipient on the next business day. Both services are offered free of charge.

In addition to these transfer capabilities, NB Mobile now offers users easier methods of accessing account information. With our new at a glance feature, customers no longer have to log in to view balances and recent transactions. Simply visit the app log in screen and swipe down from the top to reveal up-to-date balance information and the last five transactions. NB Mobile has also incorporated 3D Touch shortcuts to the iOS app as well as touch ID login capabilities to both the iOS and Android apps.

Continuing the mobile trend, the NB Debit Card can now be added to your Apple Wallet. Easily connect your NB Debit Card with Apple Pay and it will be readily available on your applicable devices. Apple Pay can be used at participating merchants as an alternative to inserting your physical NB Debit Card at the register.
